One of the great things about a bridal shower is playing games. Through games guests can get a chance to get to know each other and have fun. How many games you decide to play at the shower depends on the planner and the bride. I have come up with some simple fun games that can be played at a bridal shower.
Draw the bride. The guests each draw a picture of the bride. After they’re done the pictures are all shuffled together. The bride picks which picture looks most like her. The person who drew the picture gets a prize.
Hershey kiss smooch. Fill a huge bowl with rice and a bag of Hershey kisses. Then give the guests about thirty seconds to grab as many Hershey kisses that they can. The person with the most Hershey kisses wins a prize. You may have to have two huge bowls if you have a big party of ten or more people.
Safety pin collector. As soon as people walk into the party give them a safety pin. Let them know if they catch someone say the word wedding they get to collect their safety. Also if they say the word wedding they will have to give up their safety pin. At the end of the party the person with the most number of safety pins wins a prize.
Who knows the bride? Prior to the shower have the bride write down on a piece of paper answers to twenty questions about herself. For example, she could write down what her favorite food is and where she would like to travel. The guests then number a piece of paper from one through twenty. You will then ask the guests those twenty questions. The guests will write down their answer on the piece of paper. The person who answered the most questions correctly about the bride wins a prize.
Wedding bingo. Create bingo cards with different words that represent a wedding and marriage. For example, groom, wedding cake, bouquet and so forth. Have the guest use Hershey kisses as the markers. Every time you draw a word the other people have to see if they have that word on their bingo card. When the word called out matches the bingo card they would cover it with a Hershey kiss. When someone has five Hershey kisses in a row they will yell out “Wedding!” The winner gets a prize.
