Best Florist for Your Wedding Flowers in Toledo and Sylvania, Ohio

One of unique thing about any wedding is the bride and groom’s choice of wedding flowers and decor. Given the many options in wedding flowers for centerpieces, cakes, boutonnieres and bouquets, it is no wonder that one of the most difficult choices any bride must make is her florist.

Florist for Your Wedding Flowers in Toledo and Sylvania, Ohio: Hafner Florist

One option for a local florist was Hafner Florist in Main Street in Sylvania, Ohio. While Hafner Florist offers a variety of flowers, we found that Hafner Florist was a bit pricey. In addition, the selection and variety of wedding flowers we were shown in the shop was limited to a few books demonstrating different arrangements. Hafner Florist carries traditional blooms that are in season.

Florist for Your Wedding Flowers in Toledo and Sylvania, Ohio: Glendale Flowers and Gifts

Glendale Flowers and Gifts on Glendale Avenue in Toledo, Ohio is one of the more respective wedding florists in the Toledo area. Glendale Flowers and Gifts is known for having unique, sophisticated, and trendy wedding flowers and arrangements, and their customer service is excellent. However, we also found that their wedding flowers were somewhat expensive. A few of my favorite arrangements from Glendale Flowers and Gifts include a bridal bouquet featuring miniature white calla lilies and lime green cymbidium orchid blooms, a classic bouquet of peach roses with a ribbon-wrapped handle, and a bright summer arrangement of gerbera daisies.

Florist for Your Wedding Flowers in Toledo and Sylvania, Ohio: Keith H. Brooks

After looking high and low for a local florist, my fiancé and I met with Keith H. Brooks of Keith H. Brooks Florist in Sylvania, Ohio. When we sat down with Mr. Brooks, we had some very specific ideas about bouquets and about the wedding flowers we wanted for our ceremony. In contrast, we were very open to discussing options for our cake and for centerpieces. Since we were on a tight budget, wedding flowers were one thing we felt we could skip for the reception if we needed to.

We were surprised and pleased by Keith H. Brooks Florist and by our meeting with Mr. Brooks. We found Mr. Brooks to be knowledgeable about wedding flowers that would be in season at the time of our scheduled wedding and very cognizant about our budget. As a person who is generally unfamiliar with floral design, I was impressed by Keith H. Brooks’ ability to take my somewhat scattered thoughts and pictures of ideas and interpret those thoughts and ideas into an actual thoughtful design.

When we left Keith H. Brooks, we were impressed by the level of service and design that Mr. Brooks conveyed to us by a local florist. However, we were uncertain about whether he would be able to formulate a proposal that would be acceptable given the confines of our budget. We had given Mr. Brooks a narrow amount of latitude in terms of what we planned to spend on our wedding flowers.

Just a few days after our meeting, we received a hand-delivered proposal from Mr. Brooks that thoroughly outlined a number of options for our wedding and ceremony flowers. The options included a low-, mid-, and high-range price and detailed the differences the flowers would have depending on our choices. In addition to the hand-delivered proposal, Keith H. Brooks also delivered a single red rose with a ribbon tied around it. The rose, together with the thoughtful proposal, sealed the deal.

We immediately went about the task of choosing the options we wanted for our ceremony and wedding flowers. We went with a high-end bridal bouquet filled with yellow roses, eliminated floral centerpieces, and decided to have Keith H. Brooks design a floral display for our wedding cake. We ultimately entered into a contract with Keith H. Brooks that included our selections and the applicable prices.

When the day of the wedding arrived, Keith H. Brooks Florist promptly delivered all of our wedding flowers to the wedding venue on time and as described. We were thrilled with both the quality of the flowers as well as thoughtfulness in the design. The customer service offered by the Sylvania, Ohio florist was impeccable. Overall, our experience with our local florist, Keith H. Brooks Florist was a pleasant one, and we would recommend Keith H. Brooks Florist for any occasion.
