Here is my problem with this shirt: I wanted it bad, but it was backordered on the store page [...]. I ended up finding one on amazon.com through Newbury Comics in Boston (which is a store amazing, by the way). The reason (at least for me) that this shirt is great is that it tells the story of New York decide to stop using the subway car that had been in use in New York since the 50. Hence the RIP IRT R-17 NYC # 39, eat their young line stamped on the back of his shirt over his shoulders. This shirt does NOT have that line in it, but it says how to succeed in America in fine print at the base of the neck. This logo would have been good to me, but easily could have gone to the tail of the shirt on his shoulder, etc, but it was not. HBO has decided to remove the essence of what made this cool shirt the first place.
Nice try, HBO, but the shirt on How To Make It in America, said the error is not, and the back of the shirt, said RIP IRT R-17, not a promo for the show. For a $ 20 the shirt that I would like a reply better.
